How do I generate a cover letter?

Step 1: Go to Cover Letter in the sidebar.

Step 2: Paste the full job description or job URL.

The more detailed the JD, the more personalised your letter will be.

Step 3: Select your tone.

• Formal: best for corporate, banking, and consulting roles
• Conversational: best for tech companies and startups
• Enthusiastic: best for sales, marketing, and startup culture

Step 4: Select your resume.

RoleGrowth uses your primary resume by default. Click Switch resume to use a different version.

Step 5: Click Generate Cover Letter.

AI will write a personalised letter using your actual experience and the specific JD requirements.

This takes about 15 to 30 seconds.

Step 6: Review and edit.

You can edit the letter directly, regenerate for a fresh version, click Make shorter,

or copy and download.
