My resume PDF looks different from the preview

If your exported PDF looks different from the on-screen preview, try these steps:

Use Chrome browser: RoleGrowth works best on Chrome. Safari can cause rendering differences.

Switch to Chrome if you are using a different browser.

Check for content overflow: if your resume is spilling onto 2 pages unexpectedly,

move the Spacing slider towards Compact, shorten some bullet points to under 120 characters,

or remove optional sections like awards or extra certifications.

Try re-exporting: click Export PDF again. Temporary rendering glitches resolve on a second attempt.

Special characters: unusual symbols or special characters can sometimes cause layout shifts.

Remove any non-standard punctuation from your contact information.

Font differences: PDFs use embedded fonts. Minor differences between screen and PDF rendering

are cosmetic and will not affect how recruiters see your resume.
