How do I change my resume colour theme?

In the Resume Builder, find the Colour theme section in the left panel.

You will see 6 preset colour swatches.

Available colours:

• Teal (default, recommended for most roles)
• Blue (safe for corporate roles)
• Purple (creative and tech roles)
• Coral or Orange (design and marketing)
• Dark charcoal (executive and conservative roles)
• Rose (fashion, hospitality, lifestyle brands)

Custom colour is a Pro feature. Click the rainbow circle to enter any hex code.

Which colour should you use?

• Tech and engineering: Teal or Blue
• Finance, banking, consulting: Dark charcoal or Blue
• Marketing and design: Purple, Coral, or custom
• Healthcare: Blue or Teal
• For most Indian companies: Teal or Blue is safest

Colour does not affect your ATS score. ATS systems read text only, not colours.

Colour affects human reviewers after your resume passes the ATS filter.
